Lachlan Fold Project

Talisman Mining (ASX:TLM) | Investor Hub

Exo 2

Talisman holds an extensive exploration position across the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt, comprising three principal project areas: Walkers Hill, Lachlan South and Lachlan North. The portfolio provides exposure to prospective gold and base-metal systems, with current exploration focused on systematically testing the highest-priority targets identified through our recent geological review.

Walkers Hill is a priority exploration project within the Lachlan Fold Belt and includes the Sheepyard and Marranoonbah prospects. At Sheepyard, exploration has defined a significant gold system associated with a 6km-long geochemical anomaly, with previous drilling confirming broad zones of gold mineralisation. Follow-up exploration is focused on testing the broader system and priority targets at depth.

Lachlan South hosts an extensive copper-lead-zinc-silver-gold mineralised system in close proximity to the Mineral Hill deposit. Key prospects include Durnings, Blind Calf and Rip N Tear, where previous exploration has identified significant zones of multi-metal mineralisation. Current work is focused on refining the geological model, extending known mineralisation and identifying priority targets for further testing.

Lachlan North covers an extensive position within the Cobar Basin and contains a number of large-scale base-metal exploration targets. The project has been subject to regional geophysical surveys and limited historical drilling and is currently being reviewed and reassessed as part of Talisman's broader portfolio strategy.
