Gary graduated from the University of Western Australia with a B Com degree. He has extensive management and leadership experience in the corporate and financial sectors. His past 14 years in the resources industry has seen his involvement in all phases and aspects of resources projects; from exploration, discovery, feasibility, development and through to operations.

He held the position of Executive General Manager-Corporate / Chief Financial Officer at the highly successful Australian nickel producer Jubilee Mines NL, where he was part of the senior executive management team from 2003 until that Company's acquisition by Xstrata Nickel in early 2008.

Gary has also previously acted as a Non Executive Director of two Australian listed exploration companies over several years.

Prior to that, Gary held senior executive positions with LionOre Mining International Limited in Australia (now Norilsk Nickel). A Chartered Accountant, he commenced his career with Ernst & Young in 1984.

Gary is an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Australian Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Director.
 

Peter Langworthy
Technical Director

Peter Langworthy has over 22 years experience in the exploration and mining industry, including senior technical and management roles with a number of listed companies, most recently with Jubilee Mines NL and Xstrata Nickel Australasia. At Jubilee, he held the key role of Executive General Manager - Exploration and he led the team that discovered the Alec Mairs, Prospero/Tapinos and Sinclair deposits which resulted in a major increase in the Company's resource base and provided the platform for a major uplift in the Company's value.


 

Brian Dawes
Executive Director

Mr Dawes has extensive experience in project development and operational roles within the mining industry across Australia and overseas, including Africa and the Middle East. Prior to his role as Executive General Manager - Operations and Projects at Jubilee Mines NL, he was General Manager Operations with ASX-listed nickel producer Western Areas NL, where he was responsible for the establishment of the Forrestania Nickel Project and Flying Fox Nickel Mine development. Prior to that he was the Group Mining Engineer with LionOre Australia, part of the LionOre Mining International group.

Dan Madden BComAcc, ACA
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Daniel has spent the last 8 years in the resources industry in Western Australia holding positions as audit manager for Deloitte, Financial Controller for Jubilee Mines NL and Xstrata Nickel Australasia. Most recently he held the senior position of Manager of Finance for Xstrata Nickel Australasia.

Daniel graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Commerce and Accounting. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and an affiliate of the Australian Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries.

Harry Cornelius BSc, MAusIMM
Exploration Manager

Harry is a graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He has over 14 years experience in the exploration and mine geology fields.

Harry has experience in exploring for gold and industrial minerals in Western Australia and rare metals in Western Australia and Brazil. He has also had extensive exposure in minesite geology and supervision in Western Australia for both rare metals and industrial minerals.

Harry has been instrumental in the discovery and delineation of major rare metal deposits in Western Australia and has had the opportunity to take these projects from an exploration play through resource delineation and into production. He has also had experience in project generation and reviews in Australia as well as in Africa, China and Brazil.

Harry is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
 

Brendan, who heads up Talisman's operational and logistics team, worked for Tantalum Australia NL from 2001 to 2005 immediately prior to joining Talisman. During that time he gained experience in all areas at that company's sites, including operation of mine site machinery, crushing plant and heavy earthmoving equipment. He also played an integral part in the construction, commissioning and operation of their Perth based tantalite dressing circuit and laboratory which prepared numerous products for international export.

Previous to this Brendan worked in field based exploration roles for Australasian Gold Mines NL and spent several years with Grey Eisdel Timms (WA) Pty Ltd Auctioneers selling second hand mining, processing and related machinery and products.

Brendan is an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
