Text Box: Talisman Mining Ltd 100% The Yamada project, situated approximately 260km northeast of Meekatharra on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert, was pegged by the Company covering a section of the Frere Iron Formation of the Nabberu Basin. Although much of the project area is obscured beneath sand cover, aeromagnetic data indicates that the prospective Frere Iron Formation may have a total strike length of approximately 18km within the project area. Due to the extensive sand cover, exploration has to date been limited to collection and assay of only four outcrop samples. This work has however confirmed the presence of the iron formation, with assays to 61.77% Fe - Figure 1 : Iron Ore Rockchips.
